About

Jerry Sonenblick

Jerry Sonenblick is a retired lawyer, having engaged in large-scalecommercial transactions for many years, becoming aware at times of thesteamrolling activities of greed-driven, powerful forces, and themurderous actions of organized crime. His experience spanned across many areas, which broadened in scope, when he “donned the hat” of a real estate developer, exposing him to the intricacies of the banking industry. During his career he also served in leadership capacities in statewide and national political campaigns and is familiar with the workings of government and its abuses by certain public officials.

The activities in this fast-paced novel occurred during the 1960s and 1970s when the Equal Rights Act was passed, opening up equal opportunities for African-Americans, other racial minorities, women, and minority religions. He witnessed firsthand the financial crisis that occurred in the 1970s, when banks stopped lending and funds dried up, resulting in the diminution in value of properties across the land, and the downfall of builders, banks, and any others engaged in financial pursuits

Twice married, Sonenblick lives comfortably in Tucson, Arizona, the setting for this action-packed, thriller, novel. Though it is fiction, it is based  upon actual experiences and factual events  during those tumultuous times.
